Fcking Forty Illustration
For inclusion in the autobiographical graphic novel "F*cking Forty" written by writer and artist Ed Siemienkowicz after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Sadly Ed passed away before he could finish illustrating his story – however his close friends and family reached out to artists around the world take part in a massive collaborative project – to produce artwork using Ed's completed script with the aim of completing his story.
Adhering to the request of presenting Ed in his own drawing style, I was granted the opportunity to provide a full-page illustration for one of the pages. Imagery of a horse featured repeatedly in Ed's writing as he faced seemingly insurmountable obstacles in his fortieth year.
